SCALE UP: THE NEXT STEP OF A START UP

The Onassis Scholars’ Association is proud to organise the “Alexander Onassis Entrepreneurship Day”, aimed at analysing for the first time ever in Greece the “Scale up” movement.
Distinguished people from the business world shall describe and analyse, for the first time ever in Greece, the steps that follow the launching of a start-up business, describe the current institutional framework, as well as outline the ways of funding an innovative business idea. The list of distinguished speakers includes, among others, Spyros Theodoropoulos (CEO, Chipita), Pavlos Evmorfidis (Founder, Coco-Mat), Konstantinos Gerardos (CEO, Plasio), Konstantinos Botopoulos (Chairman, Hellenic Capital Market Commission), Gwen Nguyen (Indiegogo Cause Director), Nava Swersky (Co-Chair, NanoIsrael).
In addition to the distinguished professionals, the Onassis Scholars’ Association has the pleasure of welcoming to the Event the Alternate Minister Against Unemployment, Mrs Rania Antonopoulou, as well as the Alternate Minister of Research and Innovation, Mr Konstantinos Fotakis. In their capacity as speakers, their participation is guaranteed to provide the audience with valuable information regarding the institutional business environment that is expected to be shaped in Greece over the years to come.
The 3 theme sessions of the Event are:
Once the presentations are concluded, experiential entrepreneurship workshops shall be held in special rooms of the Onassis Cultural Centre, with the participation of those who wish to attend (due to the limited number of potential participants, the event shall be available on a first-come, first-served basis). Through these workshops, equally important representatives of the business world will have the opportunity to convey, in a very practical way, their know-how and experience on specific subjects.
